Disembarking guests with flights departing after 3:45p.m. can experience the wonders of the Australian rainforest on an awe-inspiring gondola ride that takes you high above treetops.


Skyrail & Rainforest

No visit to Cairns is complete without a visit to the Rainforest, and there is no better way to experience this than by soaring over the canopy on the Skyrail. Guests will board the Skyrail for a ride on the 5km cable up and over the Rainforest. Along the way there will be 2 stops where guests will be able to explore the boardwalks and come up close and personal to the forest and perhaps some native wildlife.


Kuranda Village & Free Time

Upon arrival to Kuranda guests will have time to explore the local market and galleries allowing time to talk to the locals and become immersed in some Aboriginal Art and culture.


All too soon it will be time to depart Kuranda by coach for the journey down the range to Cairns Airport and your onward flight.

Note

Please note: This tour is available to disembarking guests with flights departing Cairns International Airport after 3:45p.m. Guests must claim and clear their bags through Customs at the pier. Luggage will then accompany guests on the coach. This tour requires a moderate amount of walking on unpaved and uneven ground. The tour is not suitable for guest with fear of heights, claustrophobia or vertigo and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lunch is at guest's own expense. Please note that temperatures at this time of the year can get very high and rain showers should also be anticipated. Guests are suggested to wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Gondola is not air-conditioned. Due to Australian occupational health and safety regulations, drivers are unable to lift more than 33 pounds (about 15 kilograms), but generally, all are helpful. There are no porters at the airport; guests will have to independently manage luggage from the coach drop-off area to flight check-in. A minimum number of participants is required for this excursion to operate.
