Conclude your voyage in a truly memorable way during this half-day tour and transfer into Rome, and an introduction to the city's splendid sights and shopping.
Depart for the scenic drive from Civitavecchia into Central Rome, followed by a sightseeing drive though the 'Eternal City' and some free time in St. Peter's Square. After the introduction to Rome, guests are dropped at Fiumicino Airport. Taxis to other properties are easily available from the airport.
Following the journey into the city, a panoramic drive takes you past the Coliseum, Circus Maximus, St. Angelo Castle, and Via Veneto. Upon arrival at St. Peter's Square, enjoy about 45 minutes of free time for you to further explore the area, while your luggage is stored safely in the coach.
At the appointed time, return to the meeting place and re-board your coach for the drive to city center drop off point and Fiumicino Airport. To ensure a prompt departure, please return to the meeting point on time. This Tour is designed for Guests with Flights after h 16.30 or 17.00 depending on ship's arrival time.

Please note: This tour is offered to disembarking guests as a tour and transfer into Rome. This tour and transfer operates by coach, and is subject to minimum participation. Walking is at the discretion of each guest; however all guests must disembark the coach and make their way to the pick-up location, a short distance away. Guests must be able to embark/disembark the coach via the bus steps. If Guests wish to visit St. Peter's Basilica, please note there are approximately 40 steps at the location. Proper attire that covers shoulders and legs must be worn by both men and women in St. Peter's Basilica: mini-skirts, shorts and capri pants are not acceptable. In addition visitors are often required to check large bags, video cameras and bottled water at a desk. You might encounter considerable crowds and lines at St. Peter's Basilica. Be aware that the Basilica might close for security reasons at any given time without advance notice. The final Rome central drop-off point for independent guests is subject to change, based on local conditions. Please note the tour order may vary due to traffic or local conditions, but will cover the scheduled itinerary. Due to new traffic regulations in Rome, big motor coaches have limited access around city center. Therefore, additional walk will be required for guests to access the main venues. Should the designed motor coach drop off / pick up point for St. Peters Basilica be congested or unavailable, an alternative drop off / pick up point location will be used. Please note that an additional walking portion of 0.6 miles from / to the alternative location should be considered.
