Excursion Raet national park kayak adventure tour at Arendal

Enjoy a memorable kayak adventure in the beautiful Raet national park, between the islands of Hisøya and Tromøya.

Begin with an approximately one kilometre long walk to the harbour, where you will be provided with the kayak equipment and a safety briefing.

Kayak Adventure

The kayak adventure will take you in the beautiful Raet national park, between the islands of Hisøya and Tromøya. On route, the guide will explain the history of the islands and point out various points of interest. As you paddle through the sheltered waters of Galtesund on Hisøya, pass some smaller islands, before crossing the channel and heading over to Tromøya, past the Brattekleiv Shipyard.

Please note: This excursion involves extensive physical activity. This tour is not suitable for individuals with mobility limitations. The tour is operated with double sea kayaks. There is a weight limit of 110 kg (240 pounds) and the age minimum to participate is 12 years old (children must be accompanied by a guardian). Waterproof gear is provided, but guests are recommended to wear trainers, swimming suits and bring a towel. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
