Independence Square and National Museum

Depart the pier for a brief drive along the scenic beach en route to the Togo-Ghana border. A brief stop is made on the beach to observe the local fishermen at work. From here, proceed to Independence Square to view a lovely memorial commemorating the women of Togo.


Artisans' Village, Togo School and Fetish Market

Next, drive to the Artisans' Village. Here, some free time is made to browse for souvenirs before continuing on to a school in rural Togo. During your visit, discover the challenges of formal education in Togo's rural areas. Proceed from the school to th eheart of the village where you will be received by the chief and the entire community amidst royal and folk dances. Afterward, re-board your coach and commence the brief drive back to the pier.
