Explore the highlights of Tromsø, known as the gateway to the Arctic. Visit the Polar Museum housed in a historic 19th-century wharf, showcasing the region’s exploration history, including exhibits on explorers like Nansen and Amundsen with photos, artifacts, and films. Cross the Tromsø Bridge to the Arctic Cathedral, a striking landmark with a 114-foot-high entrance, crystal chandeliers resembling ice formations, and Europe's largest stained-glass window. Finally, take the Tromsø Fjellheis cable car to Mount Storsteinen at 421 meters for panoramic views of the city’s islands and sea.

Please note: This tour is available to in-transit guests continuing on to the following cruise. It is recommended to dress in layered clothing and wear comfortable walking shoes.  Walking involves approximately 200 meters, optional steps, gradual slopes and uneven terrain. The Cathedral may be closed at short notice for inside visits due to religious ceremonies, in which an exterior visit will be conducted. Comfort stop available at the Polar Museum & Cable Car.
