9 Items You Mustn't Take with You on Cruises

As you know, cruise ships are synonymous with relaxation and fun. However, there are rules that must be followed on board for your safety. These items are absolutely forbidden to take on board. Here they are:

1. Drones: Cruises are perfect for your Instagram reels, but drones are prohibited due to potential privacy violations caused by inexperienced drone pilots. We respect privacy!

2. Drugs: This one's pretty clear, for obvious reasons.

3. Plants and Flowers: Seeds, pollen, and agricultural diseases could negatively impact the ship and your destinations. However, you can order a beautiful bouquet of flowers to your cabin for an additional fee.

4. Explosives, Fireworks, and Firecrackers: If you're planning a celebration like a Baby Shower, you'll need to come up with another exciting way, and skip the blue and pink fireworks.

5. Heating Irons: Ironing might be one of the most tedious tasks, but irons aren’t safe on board. We doubt you'd want to do housework during your vacation, so leave the ironing to us. By the way, there's a laundry facility on board.

6. Alcoholic Drinks: While some companies allow you to bring a bottle of wine, it's only permitted on the day of embarkation. You can also purchase alcoholic souvenirs on board, just like in Duty Free.

7. Animals: The exception is a guide dog. It’s a matter of hygiene and minimizing chaos. The only pet-friendly voyage is on the Queen Mary 2's Southampton to New York round trip route, where a section of the ship is reserved for furry friends.
