Tvinde Waterfall, Drive to Voss
Depart from the pier and set out on an 80-minute drive through a beautiful progression of fjord, valley, and mountain landscapes. Your first stop is the Tvinde Waterfall, where a short walk brings you to a viewpoint overlooking its wide, tiered cascade. From here continue on a brief drive to Voss, a lively mountain town known for outdoor adventure and dramatic scenery.
Voss Gondola, Stalheim
On arrival, board the Voss Gondola for a smooth ascent to the mountaintop. At the summit, take in expansive views over lakes, valleys, and rugged peaks before enjoying an included lunch at the mountain-top restaurant. Afterward, descend by gondola and rejoin the coach for the 45-minute drive to Stalheim, one of Norway’s most iconic viewpoints high above the Nærøydalen valley.
Stalheim’s Open Air Museum, Svingen Photo Stop
Visit Stalheim’s Open Air Museum, where wooden farm buildings set along grassy paths reveal stories of rural life from past centuries. Explore at a relaxed pace before taking a short walk to the nearby hotel for a coffee break with views of the dramatic valley below. Conclude the experience with a 90-minute scenic drive back to the pier, including a photo pause at Svingen, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Vik and the Sognefjord.
