Excursion Desert scenic cycling exploration tour at Walvis Bay

The Scenic Desert Tour offers an unforgettable and one-of-a-kind adventure. Visitors will experience the excitement of cycling over Namibia's renowned dunes while soaking in the stunning views of the world's oldest desert. This scenic tour spans approximately 12 to 14 kilometers (7.5-8.5 miles) and features cycling through the town, along the dry riverbed, and up and down beautiful dunes. While everyone can appreciate the incredible scenery, a certain level of fitness and basic bicycle riding skills are necessary to fully enjoy this experience.

Please note: Guests participating on this tour should be physically fit, and able to ride a bicycle. Safety equipment (helmet) is provided and must be always worn whilst bicycling. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition and not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, or guests with limited mobility. Guests must be able to bike up inclines for a prolonged period, cycling distance approx. 12-14 km (7.5-8.5 miles). Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection is recommended.
