Excursion Discover réunion by helicopter tour at Pointe Des Galets

Join your pilot for a 45 - minute helicopter ride. The flying over the island in helicopter is the most spectacular and gigantic way to discover the sharpest relieves and the contrasts in the most intense landscapes.

Depart the pier for a short transfer to the heli-port where a safety briefing is conducted before the flight.  Board the heli and enjoy the stunning views flying over Cirque of Mafate and Salazie. This caldera was formed from the collapse of the large shield volcano the Piton des Neiges. The very remote cirque was settled in the 19^th century by maroon slaves.

Proceed over the Trou de Fer and the Piton de la Fournaise, one of the most active volcanoes in the planet. Be bewitched by the beauty of this island. Next, continue your flying by the Plaine des Cafres, Dimitile and the last one, Cilaos.

Return to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking and is suitable for guests with limited mobility but not those who utilise a wheelchair.  Lightweight comfortable clothing, and flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. Seating is at the discretion of the pilot based on weights. Weight restrictions are: In Front (2 seats) = 154 kg in total; In Back (4 seats) = 350 kg in total. A minimum of participants is required to operate this tour. Although the space on this tour is limited a minimum of participants is required.
