Excursion Exuma swimming pigs adventure tour at Exuma

Enjoy a scenic 25-minute bus ride to the departure point, then set sail past beautiful island cays and sandbars of Exuma.

Scenic Boat Adventure & Island Stops

Depart from Emerald Bay Marina aboard a spacious two-story powerboat with shaded areas and onboard restrooms.  The boat ride features narration about the area’s natural wonders, wildlife, and hidden gems, with guests free to walk around, enjoy beverages from the cooler (water, soda, rum punch), and chat with the crew. A photographer will be on board, and photos can be purchased online after the tour.

Swimming Pigs & Wildlife Encounters

Your first stop is White Bay Cay, home to the famous swimming pigs. Here, you’ll receive carrots to feed these friendly porcine athletes, with instructions on how to do so safely. Guests can swim with the pigs and observe the wild stingrays swimming nearby—note that the beach can be rocky, so barefoot walking is recommended. This unique experience is perfect for fun photos and memorable moments with these adorable animals.

Beach & Viewpoint

Next, visit a pristine, natural beach with powdery white sand and clear blue water—perfect for swimming and relaxing. There are no umbrellas or chairs, so bring your own sun protection and towel. The last stop is an easy hike up a hill to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the islands and ocean. Guests who prefer not to walk can swim at the beach below instead.

After this scenic adventure, enjoy the cruise back to the dock and a 25-minute transfer to the pier, rejoining your ship with wonderful memories of Exuma’s natural beauty and playful pigs.

Please note: This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and those who utilize a wheelchair. The tour involves moderate activity and walking on sandy areas and swimming with a staircase-like ladder into the water. We recommend guests wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, bring a towel, and a sun protection. No facilities or restrooms on island. Guests should also bring cash and/or a credit card for any additional purchases.
