Scenic West Coast Drive
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 55-minute drive to Bathsheba. En route, ride along the scenic west coast, known as the 'Platinum Coast' for its famous celebrity and wealthy residents, then drive north across sleepy and quaint country villages dotted with chattel houses.
Bathsheba Beach and St. John's Church
Upon arrival at idyllic Bathsheba Beach, take a stroll on this world-renowned surfing beach. Marvel at dramatic views of the rugged coastline, pounding Atlantic surf and intricately-carved wooden pulpit made with over 30 types of wood. Leaving the beach, re-board your coach and head to St. John's Church for stunning views of the Atlantic coastline.
Gun Hill Signal Station
Next, proceed to Gun Hill Signal Station. Located in the centre of the island, Gun Hill was a former military post and lookout during World War II, and offers wonderful panoramic views of the island.

This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometres), at times over uneven surfaces, with few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, four steps to access the beach at Bathsheba and 10 steps into the Tower at Gun Hill. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended; camouflage clothing is not permitted.
