Settle into your comfortable motorcoach and enjoy a scenic drive through sugarcane fields and swaying coconut palms en route to the South Sea Orchid Garden.  Arrive at this private property and enjoy a welcome morning cup of tea served in these magical surroundings.  Here, you’ll find one of the largest collections of orchids in Fiji in addition to antiques, photographs and memorabilia dating back to when the owners’ family emigrated from Scotland to the island during colonial times.  Continue on to Nadi, where the lively marketplace is the perfect spot to find colorful souvenirs. The next stop is the traditional Sabeto village, where you’re greeted with a kava ceremony followed by a cultural performance with colorful costumes. The singing of the national farewell song marks the end of this wonderful adventure.

South Sea Orchid, Morning Tea at the Burness.

Depart from Lautoka on an hour drive to the famous South Sea orchid Garden where the Burness resides after their migration from Scotland. Taken on a tour of their historical collections and enjoy morning or afternoon tea with home baked cakes, Coffee, Tea or freshly home made juice.

Visit the traditional village of Sabeto and be part of the welcome ceremony and entertained by traditional dances which foretells the stories of their ancestral arrival and events of the early days.

Join the villagers as you dance to their tribal beat before reboarding your coach for a scenic drive back to port.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking for approximately 437 yards (about 400 metres), at times over uneven, natural surfaces and hills, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the vehicle. This tour includes some off-road driving over bumpy and uneven natural surfaces and inclines and is not suitable for guests with with back and/or neck problems and guests who utilise a wheelchair. The tour is also not recommended for guests prone to motion sickness as the drive will be along several winding roads.  Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, and credit cards or local currency for purchases from the ship. When visiting a Fijian village, women are not permitted to wear shorts, and men are not permitted to wear cap/hats. Women can bring a sarong if they are wearing shorts. The tour sequence may vary.
