Please note: This tour involves approximately 0.75 miles of walking on paved and unpaved surfaces, with 3–5 steps. Comfortable shoes, sun protection, a light jacket, and bottled water are recommended. As the park is at 4,300 feet, temperatures may be cooler, and sulfur fumes near steam vents may affect those with respiratory conditions. Wheelchair access is available with prior notice; however, ADA vehicles are limited and must be requested, at the onboard Shore Concierge desk, at least 72 hours prior the beginning of the tour. The tour includes walking over uneven terrain, inclines, and steps making it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs. No food, beverages, or restroom stops outside the park are included. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Commercial photography is prohibited inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The tour sequence may vary. Hawai?i Volcanoes National Park has begun a multi-year construction program to repair, improve or remove damaged buildings and infrastructure at the summit of Kilauea. A temporary Visitor Center will be open during the construction project and visitors may encounter delays at the park entrance, temporary area closures, and limited parking. Should any areas of the park be inaccessible or closed during your visit, additional time will be spent at other locations within the park.
