Enjoy a scenic drive through the charming old city, over the island of Tromsø, onto Sandenessund Bridge and Kvaløya Island, and to a mountainous isle with peaks rising to an elevation of over 3,200 feet. Here a warm welcome awaits you at the Husky Home, where you will meet 100+ Alaskan huskies. Learn how they are trained, socialized and fed, and collect first-hand experience as you cuddle with these friendly and active canines. While your hosts share stories with you about the winter races you will be treated to refreshments in a traditional sami tent.
