Depart the pier for the short drive to the Ryker station. Manufactured by Can-Am, the ‘Batmobile’-looking Ryker is an easy-to-drive, fully-automatic, three-wheel motorcycle. It is  fully-automatic, so no shifting is necessary, and equipped with an ABS foot brake. Upon arrival at the Ryker station, sign your safety waiver, and receive your safety and riding instructions and gear. Afterward, don your safety helmet, board your Ryker three-wheel motorcycle, and begin your scenic and exhilarating, e-motorcycle adventure.

Sabadeco, Klein Bonaire Viewpoint, Breath-Taking Panoramic Vistas, Thousand Steps Dive Site

Led by your guide, your panoramic 3 wheel-motorcycle-riding adventure heads out along the coastal road to the north, with various photo stops and narratives along the way. Your first stop is at Sabadeco for breath-taking panoramic vistas at the Klein Bonaire Viewpoint. After a photo stop here, continue riding and head to the Thousand Steps, one of the most famous dive sites on Bonaire. The ‘thousand steps’ refers to the number of steps leading down to the dive site from the clifftop, but the steps really number just 67 in all.

Goto Lake, Flamingos, Rincon Village, Cadushy Distillery, Kralendijk, Salt Pans, Slave Huts

Next, ride further to Goto Lake for an opportunity to marvel at the flamingos. Afterward, head to Rincon Village for a guided tour and tasting at the Cadushy Distillery. Following your visit, re-board your e-motorcycle and continue through Kralendijk to the southern part of the island. Upon arrival, take in splendid views whilst riding along the blushing salt pans sprawl at the feet of the iconic salt mountains, and see and learn about the salt flats and former slave huts. At the conclusion of your tour, head back to the Ryker station. Upon arrival, return your helmet and e-motorcycle, then re-board your van and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of three-wheel motorcycle-riding and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 328 yards (about 300 metres), at times over uneven and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the van and  3 wheel motorcycle. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart, respiratory, or neurological conditions, guests with claustrophobia, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to lightweight, comfortable clothing in layers they won’t mind getting dirty, including long pants and long-sleeve shirts with flat, closed-toe, and sturdy walking or hiking shoes, and bring sun protection, sunglasses, bottled water, and US Dollars or credit cards for purchases from the ship; open-toed shoes are not permitted on this tour. The price of this tour is per e-motorcycle, based on two people sharing one motorcycle; only one ticket needs to be purchased. Guests must be at least 18 years old to ride as a passenger on this tour. Guests must be at least 18 years old, and present a valid ID showing proof of age, to drive a three-wheel motorcycle on this tour. A driver change is permitted during the trip if both guests present a valid ID showing proof of age prior to the tour. Guests with a combined weight of over 440 pounds (about 199 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. Safety helmets are provided, and must be worn the entire time during the e-motorcycle tour. The total driving time aboard the motorcycles is approximately two hours. Photography/videography is prohibited whilst driving the motorcycles. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. Drivers are fully responsible for any damage to the CanAm Ryker motorcycle up to USD $1,500.00. The tour sequence may vary.
