Experience the natural beauty and dramatic scenery of Montenegro during this adventurous, half-day off-road buggy excursion above the Bay of Kotor.

Kotor and Transfer to the Buggy Base

Depart the pier on-foot for the short, approximately 15-minute walk to the buggy departure point. Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and receive a safety briefing and orientation before setting out in your open-air CF Moto UForce buggy. Once underway, leave the coastal town behind and begin your ascent toward the Vrmac ridge.

Vrmac Ridge and Panoramic Photo Stops

Travel along sections of the historic Austro-Hungarian road and rugged mountain tracks that climb high above the Bay of Kotor. The route traverses uneven terrain, dusty trails and winding serpentine roads, offering an authentic off-road experience. As you gain elevation, spectacular panoramic vistas unfold below. Several stops are made at carefully selected viewpoints, where you may capture postcard-worthy photographs of the fjord-like Boka Bay, the medieval rooftops of Kotor’s Old Town, and the elegant silhouette of Perast across the shimmering waters.

Throughout the journey, your guide shares insights into the region’s history, including stories of ancient fortifications and the strategic importance of this remarkable natural harbour.

Following approximately two hours of exploration and scenic photo opportunities, descend the mountain and return to the buggy base. From here, walk back to the pier with lasting memories of Montenegro’s breathtaking landscapes and a truly exhilarating adventure.

Note

Please note: This tour involves an extensive off-road ride over uneven and rugged terrain, with approximately 200 metres of walking over flat and uneven surfaces and a few steps to negotiate to access the vehicles. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, guests who utilise a wheelchair, pregnant guests, or guests with back, hip or height-related concerns. Guests should be physically fit and comfortable with heights and off-road conditions. Sandals, high heels and slippery shoes are not permitted; comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes and sunglasses are recommended. The maximum weight limit is 110 kg (242 lbs) per guest. Guests must be at least eight years old to participate and are required to sign a waiver prior to departure. Restroom facilities are not available during the off-road portion of the tour. The tour sequence may vary depending on local conditions.
