This Silver Shore Mid-Land Adventure requires advance booking through Silversea Reservations no later than 90 days prior to the sail date. Requests received after this date may be accommodated on a space-available basis. Tickets are available in limited quantities, and participation cannot be guaranteed for those guests not booking well in advance. A minimum number of participants is required to operate this programme. If this minimum number is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the programme at a different rate based on private arrangements, or to cancel the specific departure. The official currency in Belgrade is the Serbian dinar (RSD). While some larger shops and hotels accept credit cards, and local ATMs are available in many locations visited, it’s advisable to carry some dinars for daily expenses, as euros (EUR) are not widely accepted for everyday transactions. Euros may be accepted in certain establishments, but it is best to use the local currency for smooth and hassle-free payments.

DAY ONE – Monday, May 11, 2026 – Dubrovnik/Belgrade
After disembarking the ship, meet your guide and transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for check-in and your scheduled flight of approximately 55 minutes departing at 3.20pm and arriving in Belgrade at approximately 4.15pm. (Please be advised that flights may be changed by the local supplier at any time, and without our control, due to operational reasons. The final flights' details will be confirmed once onboard).
Upon arrival in Belgrade Airport and after passport and visa formalities meet your guide and transfer to Hilton hotel for check-in and and some time to freshen-up before enjoying a welcome dinner with a folklore performance in the historic Skadarlija quarter.
Located in the Old Town Stari Grad, this bohemian area is rich in history and filled with interesting sights. What makes Skadarlija unique is that much of its old architecture has been preserved, giving visitors the sensation of stepping into the past as soon as they arrive. Skadarlija buzzes both day and night, thanks to a wide array of traditional restaurants and bars lining its streets. It is also a magnet for artists, drawn not only by its historical charm but also by its bohemian artistic ambiance. You are likely to hear traditional folk music playing and see artists with paintbrushes in hand.
Moreover, Skadarlija is quite laid-back, providing a welcome respite from the busier vibe of other parts of the city center. It is often compared to Montmartre in Paris because of its artistic atmosphere and overall bohemian spirit.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and start the day by immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Belgrade by exploring its main sights and uncovering the city’s rich history and lively atmosphere.
Belgrade Sightseeing Tour
Begin with a scenic panoramic drive through the city, leading you to the iconic St. Sava Temple, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the Balkans. Located on an open plateau, this majestic landmark features a bronze monument dedicated to Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church and a key figure in medieval Serbia. After visiting the temple, enjoy an engaging lecture in its crypt, offering deeper insight into its significance.
Next, take a panoramic bus tour towards the bustling main street and the central square, Republic Square. Here, you will see two of Belgrade’s most important cultural institutions: the National Theatre and the National Museum. Following this, relax and savor lunch at a charming local restaurant.
Stroll Along Knez Mihailo Street
After lunch, walk along the lively Knez Mihailo Street, a hub of national and international culture. Lined with cafes, restaurants, shops, both local and international brands and historic architecture, this vibrant street is a protected cultural heritage site. As you stroll, you will be heading towards Kalemegdan Fortress, Belgrade's most significant historic complex.
Kalemegdan Fortress and Park
Perched atop a hill, Kalemegdan Fortress stands as a silent witness to over 2,000 years of history, having been inhabited by Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, Austrians, and Serbs each leaving their mark. Today, the fortress's Upper and Lower Towns, along with Kalemegdan Park, form a monumental testament to Belgrade’s tumultuous past. The locals often take pride in their cities and villages, which boast a distinctly European charm that sets them apart from areas just south of the rivers.
Novi Sad: The Heart of Vojvodina
Our first stop is Novi Sad, the largest city in Vojvodina, beautifully situated along the Danube River. Founded in the late 17th century by Serbian merchants, the city grew around the strategic Petrovaradin Fortress a formidable Habsburg military stronghold. During the 18th and 19th centuries, Novi Sad flourished as a vibrant trade and manufacturing hub, earning the nickname "Serbian Athens" for its cultural prominence. Today, you will have the opportunity to experience the true spirit of this historic city.
Begin your exploration with a walk through Danube Park, a beloved urban sanctuary offering shade, tranquility, and respite from the city’s hustle. Continue by visiting notable landmarks such as the Cathedral, Bishop's Palace, Novi Sad Theatre, and the Synagogue, each reflecting the city’s diverse cultural heritage.
The Charm of Sremski Karlovci
Next, enjoy a scenic drive to the charming town of Sremski Karlovci, nestled between the verdant slopes of Fruška Gora and the shimmering Danube. This town is a guardian of Serbian cultural and spiritual treasures, featuring historic edifices of priceless value. Its streets echo centuries of tradition, especially the celebrated wine and grape culture famously intertwined with Branko Radicevic’s poetry.
Take a leisurely walking tour through Sremski Karlovci, soaking in its quaint beauty and rich history. Founded on the southern slopes of Fruška Gora, Winery Kovacevic has a vision to restore the region’s legendary viticultural heritage and showcase Serbian winemaking at its finest. From humble beginnings, it now stands as a beacon of a new wave in Serbian wine.
After the visit, you will slowly drive back to the hotel, which takes approximately 90-minutes, giving you time to relax and reflect on the day.

DAY FOUR – Tuesday, May 14, 2026 – Serbian Cooking Class & Transfer to Kotor
Join a Authentic Serbian Cooking Class in Belgrade
After a leisurely breakfast this morning, immerse yourself in the flavors of Serbia with a hands-on cooking class in Belgrade. Under the guidance of a skilled chef, you will participate in creating a delicious traditional lunch featuring regional specialties.
In the first part of the class, you willl learn to prepare a selection of authentic Serbian dishes, including Gibanica, a classic Balkan pastry made with layers of delicate phyllo dough and a savory filling.
Once you have prepared these dishes, you will sit down to enjoy your homemade meal, savoring the flavors you have just created.
Transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Tivat
Following this culinary experience, you will transfer to the airport for your return flight of approximately 55 minutes departing at 5.00pm and arriving in Tivat at approximately 5.55pm. (Please be advised that flights may be changed by the local supplier at any time, and without our control, due to operational reasons. The final flights' details will be confirmed once onboard).

Upon arrival at Tivat Airport, meet your guide and transfer to the port. Upon arrival at the pier, embark the ship.
Please Note: This mid-land program of Belgrade involves approximately 2.6 to 2.8 kilometers (about 1.6 to 1.75 miles) of walking over mostly paved surfaces, cobblestone streets, and some inclines. Participants should be comfortable walking and negotiating stairs, as several venues include staircases—around 20 stairs at the Temple of Saint Sava, Belgrade Fortress, and the Museum of Vojvodina (to reach upper floors), and additional stairs at the Patriarchate Court in Sremski Karlovci. This tour is suitable for active guests in good physical condition. It may not be advisable for guests with mobility challenges, those requiring a wheelchair, or pregnant guests. Comfortable, flat footwear is recommended, along with sun protection, insect repellent, and bottled water. Proper attire is required, especially when visiting religious sites, legs and shoulders should be covered, and shoes are removed before entering sacred areas. Guests should carry their passports and local currency, or credit cards for any incidental purchases. The sequence of activities and visiting sites may vary due to weather, local conditions, or other circumstances. For safety, valuables and large cash amounts should be left on board or in your hotel. Since space is limited, early booking is recommended.
