Excursion Milos white coast hike tour at Milo

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

This half-day tour follows Milos’ dazzling “White Coast,” linking tiny fishing hamlets, natural arches, and sculpted lunar landscapes.

Agios Konstantinos, Alogomandra, Mytakas, White Coast

Depart from the pier and travel by minibus on a short drive to Agios Konstantinos, a coastal village known for its colorful syrmata— traditional fishermen’s houses painted in vivid hues. Here, lace up and set out with your hiking guide along shoreline paths toward Alogomandra, tucked beneath a natural volcanic arch, then continue over unpaved headlands toward Mytakas and the island’s famed White Coast.

Kofto Islet Zone, Sarakiniko

As the trail unfolds, the scenery turns other-worldly: chalk-white shelves, wind-carved fins, and pocket coves lead you past a colony of seabirds, the Kofto islet zone, and a chain of small caves. Near the broader Sarakiniko area, pause at the whimsical “mushroom” rocks before the landscape opens to the island’s iconic lunar amphitheater—smooth white pumice cascading into ink-blue sea.

Conclude at the Sarakiniko parking area and board the minibus for a short drive back to the pier.
