Depart the pier for the short walk from the pier to the ATV Base. Upon arrival, receive your safety and riding instructions, then don your safety helmet. Afterward, begin your scenic and exhilarating ATV tour with a picturesque, approximately 1.5-hour drive to Magerøya Island, with photo stops along the way and on the island. Located on the reaches of Magerøya Island where the Norwegian and Barents seas meet, the majestic Nordkapp Cliffs rise more than 1,000 feet (about 305 metres) above sea level, and are topped by a large, flat plateau.


North Cape Hall, Stores, Restaurants, Cinema, AV Presentation, Hall of Fame, Cave of Lights

Upon arrival at the North Cape Hall, take in a spectacular vista of barren tundra. The North Cape Hall has shopping facilities, a post office, chapel, bar, restaurants, and a cinema with a 225-degree wide-screen. Here, you can view an audio-visual presentation of Magerøya and the North Cape, showing the magnitude of the area's breath-taking scenery during the four seasons. Adjacent to the cinema is the Hall of Fame, with models of important events that have taken place at the North Cape Plateau, and the Cave of Lights, with a terrace offering a splendid view of the ocean further north.


Free Time, Photo/Video Opportunities, Shopping, North Cape Gift Shop, Panoramic Views

During your visit to the North Cape, ample free time is made available for photo/video opportunities, shopping, browsing the North Cape Gift Shop, writing and posting cards, or simply finding yourself the perfect overlooks to enjoy panoramic views in all directions. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your ATV and commence the approximately one-hour drive back to the ATV Base, with additional photo stops en route. Upon arrival, return your equipment and commence the short walk back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of off-road driving and a moderate amount of walking for up to 0.75 miles (about 1.2 kilometres), at times over uneven, gravel, and natural surfaces and hills, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off ATV. Walking at the North Cape is at the discretion of each guest. The ATVs utilised on this tour seat two passengers, and the drivers switch halfway. The ride may be rough at times, and guests will experience bumpy, jerking motions. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to warm, comfortable clothing in layers that they won't mind getting dirty, including long pants and long-sleeve shirts with flat, sturdy and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes, and bring sun protection, a weatherproof jacket and bottled water from the ship; open-toed shoes are not permitted on this tour. The price of this tour is per person, based on two people sharing one ATV. Guests must be at least six years old to ride as a passenger on this tour. Guests must be at least 18 years old, and present a valid driving license. Safety helmets are provided, and must be worn the entire time during the ATV-ride. The combined weight of both ATV passengers cannot exceed the limit of approximately 661 pounds (about 300 kilograms). Guests must be at least 49 inches (about 125 centimetres) to participate on this tour. Photography/videography is prohibited whilst driving the ATV. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
