Excursion Patmos heritage & wine experience tour at Patmos

Discover a different side of Patmos during this relaxed exploration combining the island's spiritual heritage with a taste of local wines.

Depart the pier and travel to Chora, the island's picturesque hilltop settlement. Visit the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian, whose fortified walls have overlooked Patmos for centuries, and learn about its enduring importance as a center of Orthodox Christianity. Continue to the Cave of the Apocalypse, where St. John is believed to have received the visions that inspired the Book of Revelation.

Leaving the island's sacred landmarks behind, continue to a local wine estate to learn about winemaking on Patmos and the challenges of cultivating vines in the dry, windswept conditions of the Aegean.
