Excursion Patmos wine experience tour at Patmos

This half day tour pairs Patmos’ most photogenic viewpoints with a relaxed visit to a boutique estate—stopping for photos at the Cave of the Apocalypse area and the windmills of Chora before heading inland for a guided tasting of local wines accompanied by a snack platter.

Cave of the Apocalypse, Chora’s Windmills

Depart from the pier and set out by minibus on a brief drive toward the Cave of the Apocalypse area for a brief photo pause at this UNESCO-listed spiritual landmark. Continue with a short drive up to Chora, where the windmills provide a classic island backdrop and sweeping views over the whitewashed village and the Aegean.

Patoinos Winery, Wine Tasting

Rejoin the road for a brief drive inland to Patoinos Winery, a small estate focused on indigenous grapes and contemporary Greek viticulture. Walk the grounds with your guide to hear how terroir and sustainable practices shape the wines, then settle in for a guided tasting of three wines served with a snack platter. Unhurried and intimate, the session is designed to showcase Patmos’ character in the glass. Conclude with a short drive back to the pier, passing coastal vistas and countryside scenery along the way.
