The Getsemani Neighborhood is still part of the Colonial old town, but is located just outside the historic walls. During colonial days this area was the working-class part of the city, but now it's becoming the trendy place to hang out in the evening. The neighborhood combines the traditional feel of families sat outside their houses relaxing with cool little bars and coffee shops, many local or "Cartageneros" now refer to this neighbourhood as "Jet-set mani."

Your tour takes you through the old town under the Puerta Del Reloj (Clock tower entrance), a symbol of Cartagena, into the Plaza de los Coches. Your guide divulges the myths and legends, histories and stories of Cartagena from ancient times right up to the present.

At Coffee tasting there is a chance for you to get involved and enjoy this hands-on catacion del café experience, taking part in the milling process, size selection and roasting before participating in the magical "cupping," during which you learn about the aromas and flavors of various types of coffee, as well as the methods of preparation.
