Excursion Sardinian sailing experience tour at Alghero

Enjoy a full day of total relaxation and cruise in style along the Coral Coast on an authentic sailing boat, a 1939 gaff-rig top's'l ketch. Used as a traditional fishing vessel for her first fifty years in the northern waters of Denmark and the North Sea, it is now loving her working retirement in the incredibly clear waters of the Coral Coast.

Your vessel for the day was lovingly restored and has been maintained by her English owners, who have provided such memorable experiences that people have continued to return for the last sixteen years the ship has been sailing out of Sardinia.

With a maximum of 12 people on board there is plenty of deck space for everyone to soak up the sun. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, the sailing boat does have a knack for calling the dolphins and it is not uncommon to see them riding her bow wake. Take some time for swimming and experience hoisting sails the traditional way, if the weather is appropriate.

This tour lasts 6 hours aboard and includes time for swimming, relaxation and lunch aboard. Walk from the dock back to your ship at the conclusion of this delightful adventure.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of activity. Guests must be able to maneuver a few steps to board the sailing vessel. This tour is accessible to individuals who use a wheelchair, provided the boarding and disembarking can be done on foot. Minimum age to participate is 8 years old. Guests with a fear of water should not participate on this tour. Guests are recommended to comfortable clothes and shoes, a swimsuit, and a hat. Guests should expect significant sun exposure and bring a towel. Space on this tour is limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
