Scenic Drive and Coastal Countryside

Depart the pier for a scenic, approximately 45-minute drive through parts of Malta’s picturesque countryside en route to the starting point of your coastal adventure. Along the way, observe the island’s rugged landscapes, traditional stone walls, and panoramic sea views that highlight Malta’s natural beauty.

Guided Coastal Hike and Natural Exploration

Upon arrival, meet your instructor and begin your guided coastal hike along natural trails. This approximately 2-kilometre trek takes you across uneven and occasionally hilly terrain, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and access to hidden corners of Malta’s shoreline rarely visited by larger groups.

During your walk, your instructor will point out unique geological formations, coastal flora, and scenic vantage points ideal for photographs. The relaxed yet active pace allows time to appreciate the tranquil surroundings while enjoying an immersive outdoor experience.

Swimming Stop and Relaxation

Along the route, a stop is made at a secluded bay, where you will have the opportunity to swim in clear, refreshing waters. The location is selected based on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety and optimal enjoyment. After time to relax and cool off, continue your hike back to the starting point.

Following your outdoor adventure, re-board your vehicle and commence the approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of physical activity and includes approximately 1.2 miles (about 2 kilometres) of walking over uneven, sandy, and occasionally hilly terrain. This tour is recommended only for physically fit guests and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Guests must be able to walk independently over natural trails. Swimming takes place from a natural coastal area with stone and shallow water access. Beach facilities, shade, changing rooms, and restrooms are not available. This tour is dependent upon weather and sea conditions. The exact location and route are determined by the instructor based on safety and environmental factors, and the sequence of events may vary. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, walking or hiking shoes with good grip, swimwear, a towel, sun protection, and a change of clothes are recommended. Guests must be at least six years old to participate and will be required to sign a waiver; waivers for minors must be signed by a parent or guardian.
