Castle Square, Jacob's Ladder and St. James Church
Depart the pier with your guide and begin your guided walking tour of lower Jamestown. From the seafront, pass by the Mule Yard, then through the archway to enter Castle Square, Jamestown's town square. See the 700-step Jacob's Ladder, then walk past St. James Church, the oldest church in the Southern Hemisphere.
Castle, Gardens and Georgian Hotel
Next, a visit is made to the castle, its terrace and lovely gardens, which are highlighted by a cool, relaxing atmosphere and lovely monuments. Afterward, a stop for tea and refreshments is made at one of Jamestown's historic Georgian hotels. At the conclusion of your visit, walk back to the pier, with a souvenir stop en route.
