Depart the pier for an hour drive through scenic wetlands to Aigues-Mortes, a fortified medieval town known for its preserved ramparts and charming stone architecture. Enjoy a guided walking tour through its narrow streets and historic squares, learning about its origins and its role in the region’s development.
Traditional Bull Ranch Visit
Continue to a Camargue Manade, a working ranch dedicated to breeding Camargue bulls and horses. Meet the manadiers, the local cowboys who preserve centuries-old traditions, and observe the semi-wild herds that define the region’s identity. Learn about daily ranch life, the history of bull farming, and the unique relationship between the manadiers, their horses, and the land.
Sample local specialties and enjoy a glass of vin des sables, a regional wine, as you deepen your appreciation of this land shaped by both nature and culture. Afterward, return to Sète with an hour scenic drive.
