Experience the spectacular panoramic beauty of Norway during this full-day mountain and fjord excursion.

Molde, Vestnes, Fjord and Skorgedalen Valley

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute sightseeing drive through Molde, then embark a ferry for the 20-minute ride to Vestnes. Upon arrival, board a coach for a drive along the fjord and up the Skorgedalen Valley, passing Ørskog and Sjøholt. Continue along the fjord, renowned for its salmon fishing.  

Stordal Church

Continue this scenic tour along the shores of the fjord, past small villages such as Stordal known for its furniture industry, their products being exported all over the world. In the valley of Stordal stop to visit the old, picturesque church, well known for its beautiful interior decorations. The Storfjord leads into the Norddal-Fjord taking you to the lush and fertile Valldal.

Valldal and Trolltindene Mountains

Next, drive on to Valldal, the centre of Nordal County and home to abundant strawberry fields.  From Valldal, drive across the mountain plateau, located in the centre of the Trolltindene Mountain range.

Troll's Path and Wall, Isfjorden and Sølsnes  

Drive down Trollstigen Road, or 'Troll's Path', an exhilarating stretch of road with 11 hairpin turns. A photo stop is made at the famous 'Troll Wall', well known to mountaineers all over the world. From here, your route descends to sea level and along the fjord to the village of Isfjorden. Continue to Åfarnes, then embark another ferry for the short crossing to Sølsnes. Your tour concludes with an approximately one-hour drive back to the pier, passing through an underwater tunnel to Bolsøy en route.

Lunch is served along the route.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking for approximately 328 yards (300 metres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the ferries. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility. Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.

The tour itinerary will be revised in case the Troll Road is closed by the local autorithies due to safety concerns.
