Excursion Wadi darbat tour at Salalah

your guide and board your air-conditioned jeep for about half an hour drive to Wadi Darbat. Follow the winding, steep road, and watch for the camels, goats, and cows that graze the grassy plain. See Darbat Lake, Oman's largest natural permanent lake and the source of the water that flows into the estuary of Khawr Rori. Perhaps you'll even catch a glimpse of a waterfall descending from the mountains or the natural springs that flow underground to create the Tawi Atair sinkhole and the cells of Teeq Cave.

Travel through the hills and highlands until you reach Khawr Rori lagoon, which empties into the Arabian Gulf. Stretch your legs on a 20-minute walk around this inlet, known for its peacefulness and beauty. Watch for birds as you stroll along, as this is a major breeding ground for several avian species that include the pied cuckoo, kori bustard, and lesser flamingo.
