Excursion A day at cumbuco beach and buggy ride tour at Fortaleza

Fortaleza is blessed with many spectacular beaches and Cumbuco Beach is no exception. Just an hour drive from the city and attached to a small fishing village, the beach is distinguished by its rolling white sand dunes and empty stretches of sand lined with coconut trees. Experience the stunning beauty of the Brazilian coast in a unique new way during this picturesque, full-day beach and dune excursion.

Depart the pier by coach for a one-hour scenic drive to Cumbuco beach. Up on arrival board a dune buggy for a 60-minute fun-filled and exhilarating ride. Comb the dunes and hidden trails, and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views of your surrounds.

Following your dune buggy ride, take a dip in the ocean before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Guests have access to the restaurant’s facilities and a private reserved area for Silversea guests. After lunch, some additional beach time is made available before re-boarding your coach and commencing the drive back to Fortaleza.

This beach is a popular spot for kite surfing, sand boarding, horseback riding and other fun filled activities which are available for purchase on the spot.

Please note: A minimal amount of walking, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. Off-road driving over bumpy and uneven natural surfaces and inclines during the dune safari, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the dune buggy. The ride may be rough at times, and guests will experience bumpy, jerking motions. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems or guests with limited mobility. Comfortable clothing, walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sun protection, swimsuit and towel are recommended. The tour sequence may vary.
