Re-board your coach for a short 30-minute transfer to your final stop on this itinerary, the enchanting Okawachiyama Pottery Village, often called the “Secret Kiln Village.” Nestled among forested hills, this picturesque settlement features traditional climbing kilns, artisan workshops, and charming streets lined with pottery studios. Enjoy ample time to wander at your own pace, admire the craftsmanship on display, and appreciate the serene mountain landscape that has inspired generations of ceramic artists.
The tour ends with approximately 60-minute drive back to the pier.

Please Note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking of approximately 1.2 miles (2.0 km) of walking over mostly flat but sometimes uneven or sloping terrain, along with about 50 steps in total. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users, as no accessible vehicles or ramps are available. There are no elevators at several venues, and certain locations—such as Izumiyama Quarry and parts of Okawachiyama—include slopes and uneven ground. Photography and videography are restricted inside the Kakiemon Kiln factory. Japanese yen (JPY) is required for purchases at pottery shops. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat closed-toe walking shoes, and sun protection are recommended.
