Excursion Bayada reef day tour at Jeddah

Depart the pier for approximately one-hour transfer to the marina. Upon arrival, embark your boat, receive your safety and tour instructions, and begin your approximately one-hour boat-ride to charming Bayada Island. Known as the 'Maldives of Jeddah' due to its lovely turquoise lake and the clarity of the sea here, Bayada offers a unique opportunity to observe the abundant coral reefs, and colourful fish and marine life that thrive in this pristine environment.

Enjoy ample time to explore the Bayada Reef, and participate in fun-filled and exhilarating activities such as swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking in these inviting waters, where the depth reaches approximately 656 feet (about 200 metres). A light lunch consisting of sandwiches, fruit, soft drinks, and water are served back on board the boat. At the conclusion of your visit to Bayada, embark your local boat and commence the approximately one-hour ride back to the marina and then transfer back to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and a minimal amount of walking for approximately 109 yards (about 100 metres), at times over uneven and sandy surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, and three steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the boat and manoeuvre in/out of the boat. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, and able to swim, snorkel, and kayak in water over their head. Guests must walk in ankle-deep water to disembark the boat. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with water shoes, and bring sun protection and a towel from the ship. In public, both men and women are asked to dress modestly, avoiding tight-fitting clothes and items with profane language or images. Women should cover their shoulders and knees in public. (Consider packing blouses with sleeves, scarves or shawls for the shoulders and mid- to maxi-length skirts and dresses, capris or pants to cover the knees.) To wear swimsuit in public is allowed only by the water. Guests are advised that the consumption of alcohol is illegal in Saudi Arabia. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour.
