Castle of St. Peter

The striking Crusader's castle, with its tall, well-preserved towers, was built by the Knights Hospitallers of St. John between 1402 and 1437. Later, other buildings were erected within the precincts of the castle. During the Ottoman period, it was used as a place of exile. Today some of the buildings have been turned into a prominent museum. As you tour the castle complex, there are spectacular views of Bodrum and the surrounding area.

Seaside Resort

Following the castle visit, drive to one of the leading resort hotels in the area (Kempinkski hotel or similar) for an exquisite lunch and to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Bodrum coves and sandy beaches.

Please note: This tour involves extensive walking and numerous stairs to negotiate at the castle. It is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or for those who utilise a wheelchair. Guests wishing to swim should wear a swimsuit under a cover-up and bring a towel from the ship. Seasonal lightweight clothing, flat walking shoes and sun protction are recommended.
