Your adventure begins as you arrive at the reserve and are warmly welcomed. You will then dive straight into the action with the vet safari where you will witness the darting of animals using specially formulated anaesthetic, a crucial step in immobilising and securing them for necessary procedures. As a participant, you will have the rare opportunity to lend a hand to the vet, assisting in these vital interventions that contribute to ongoing research and conservation efforts.

Following the game drive, make your way to Spekbos Restaurant, where a delectable buffet lunch awaits you. Nestled beside tranquil dams with sweeping views of lush grassy plains, Spekbos Restaurant provides the perfect setting to unwind and savour a delicious meal.

Please note: This excursion involves a minimal to moderate amount of activity. It is not suitable for guests using wheelchairs, but guests with walking difficulties can manage with assistance. Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes, sun hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses are recommended. The driving distance to the reserve is approximately 40 minutes one way.
