Excursion Bruny island picnic by seaplane tour at Hobart

Depart the pier on foot and walk to the Hobart wharf (approx. 10-15 min.) where you will get your first look at the Seaplane that will transport you to Bruny Island. Following a short safety briefing, you will climb aboard your seaplane and make your way down the Derwent which will become your runway for take-off. After a short flight from Hobarts iconic waterfront, you will land at your lunch location, a pristine sandy beach on the famous Bruny Island!

Once here, your pilot will spread out your picnic blanket on the beach in this beautiful, idyllic location. You afternoon picnic includes a prepared gourmet picnic hamper and immerse yourself in some of Tasmanians finest produce and wine while taking in the beach views. Following your picnic lunch, you'll have time to explore the beach location on your own - a perfect spot to capture some amazing photos. After your Bruny Island visit, you will reboard your seaplane and fly back to Hobart.

Once you arrive at the wharf, you will make your way back to the ship on foot.
