Cape Toi Tourism Exchange Center PAKALAPAKA

Depart the pier for the approximately 75-minute drive to the Cape Toi Tourism Exchange Center PAKALAPAKA. This welcoming hub provides an introduction to the region, including insights into local culture, wildlife, and the history of the wild horses.

Cape Toi Wild Horses

From the center, take a short walk to Cape Toi, where the wild horses roam freely across grassy, hilly terrain. Spend time observing these majestic animals in their natural habitat. Please note that guests should avoid touching or startling the horses and be cautious of animal droppings. The terrain can be steep in areas, so careful footing is recommended.

Transfer to Cape Toi Lighthouse

After visiting Cape Toi, guests will be transferred a short distance to the iconic Cape Toi Lighthouse. Perched dramatically on the edge of the cape, the lighthouse offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding coastline.

Return to Cape Toi Tourism Exchange Center

After the lighthouse visit, guests will be transferred back to the exchange center to revisit exhibits or relax before continuing.

Nangou Roadside Station

Guests will then be transferred to Nangou Roadside Station, a lively local hub where you can explore regional products and handcrafted goods. Take a moment to enjoy the local atmosphere, pick up souvenirs, or sample a few seasonal treats before re-boarding the coach.

Conclude the tour with a scenic drive of approximately 30-minutes back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, including a few steps at Cape Toi and approximately 30 steps at Cape Toi Lighthouse. The terrain includes grassy, hilly, and uneven surfaces. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or guests who use a wheelchair.
