Your exclusive tour begins with a scenic, approximately one-hour drive to central Java, and a visit to the Ambarawa Railway Station and Steam Locomotives Museum. Built in 1873 on 152,489 square yards (about 127,500 square metres) of land, the Ambarawa Railway Station was named the Willem I Railway Station, since it was the Dutch King Willem I who ordered its development. Ambarawa was a military city, and, during the Dutch Colonial Government, King Willem I ordered the construction of a new railway station to enable the government to transport its troops to Semarang. Upon arrival, visit the Steam Locomotives Museum, which is set around the grounds of the old railway station.
