Marvel at some of the most spectacular lookouts on the island, visit the charming town of Agulo from where you will enjoy magnificent views of Tenerife and its imposing Teide volcano, listen to the unique Silbo Gomero whistled language, and sample traditional local tapas and liquors of palm tree honey.


Hermigua Lookouts, Agulo, Silbo Gomero & Tapas

Depart the pier for a 40-minute coach ride toward Hermigua lookout to admire the lush subtropical valley sheltering below.

Proceed then to the north of La Gomera to visit the beautiful town of Agulo. Baptized as "the bombón de La Gomera", Agulo is a charming town of cobbled streets and well-renovated and restored story houses. A rural corner full of charm that will leave a delicious memory in your mind.

After a short walk in Agulo, you will enjoy the local gastronomy of La Gomera with a selection of local tapas and a tasting of miel de palma liquor, a honey-like syrup exclusive to La Gomera handmade from syrup extracted from the palm trees which abound in this area while you hear a demonstration of Silbo Gomero, the unique whistled speech indigenous to La Gomera. Developed over centuries by shepherds to communicate across the island's deep ravines and narrow valleys, this UNESCO-listed Intangible Cultural Heritage is the only articulate whistled language in the world still spoken by hundreds of locals.


Vallehermoso lookout, Garajonay National Park and La Laguna Grande

Re-board the coach and head to Vallehermoso lookout to admire the magnificent landscaped caved into the steep walls of the mountains, through stepped stone terraces filled with vegetation. Laurel forests and junipers can be seen from this location.

Your next destination is La Laguna Grande, a spectacular location within Garajonay National Park where you will enjoy a short walk bringing you the opportunity to discover the autochthonous vegetation of the island such as the Laurisilva Canaria.


Los Roques Lookout

Re-board the coach and proceed from La Laguna Grande towards Los Roques lookout, from where you will admire stunning views of La Gomera's landscape, part of the Unesco Biosphere Reserve.

Please note: This tour involves moderate physical activity. Participants must walk a total of 1 km (1100 yards) to and from the coach, lookouts and coffee break/snack venues, and few steps to negotiate. Some of the lookouts have unpaved surfaces. Guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring a hat and sunscreen, as well as a light windproof jacket. Children aged 3 years and over may participate. The tour order may vary.
