Excursion Green lake snorkeling & marine farm visit tour at Ilha Grande

The journey starts with a sailing towards the Lagoa Verde, a shallow, quiet, typically green, and one of the highlights of the northwest coast of Ilha Grande, perfect for snorkeling and floating with "noodles" (provided) or even swim with small fish called popularly "Sargentinhos", but the scientific name is Abudefduf, who are waiting for crumbs of bread and ration. Besides the Sargentinhos, the underwater fauna of Lagoa Verde is rich, with several species of fish, besides sea stars, sea horses and turtles.
Continuing after 60-minute snorkeling adventureur, passing through the Enteada do Sitio Forte on route to a small Marine Farm, where Oysters, Mussels and Scallops are grown. Descending in a floating restaurant, have a taste of those fresh delights that are harvested to be appreciated at the time or a delicious shrimp “pastel”. Enjoy some relaxing time on a local beach before returning back to Ilha Grande.

Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, with a few steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the boat and maneuver in/out of the boat. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition, and not suitable for guest with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions or guests with limited mobility. Guests will deboard directly from the schooner to swim and snorkel at the first stop Lagoa Azul. A swimsuit under a cover-up with beach or water shoes, sun protection, a towel and bottled water are recommended. Snorkeling equipment is provided. There are no changing facilities on board the boat. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, marine life sightings are not guaranteed. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions.
