Guided Tour & Free Time for Self-Exploration

Your lecturer, provided by the Museum, will firstly draw your attention to one of the most interesting and unique aspects to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which is the fascinating history of its founder, and the significance of its location before introducing you into the collection itself, which boasts an important selection of works by Braque, Picasso, Mondrian, Mirò, Calder, Pollock, Moore and others. At the end of the guided tour some free time will be allowed for independent exploration of the museum.

Gondola cruise

At the end of your visit, take a short walk to the closest gondola station, where you will board a sleek black gondola (four passengers per one gondola), and embark on a 30-minute cruise through a part of the Grand Canal and some of Venice's smaller, less-trafficked canals, crossed by scores of stone bridges.

Aperitivo at St. Mark's Square

Your local experience would not be complete without an 'Aperitivo'. Enjoy the stroll to your specially selected venue, a beautiful old café at St. Mark's Square to sip a typical Italian beverage or a glass of sparkling wine while taking in the magical atmosphere of the Square.

At the end of the tour you may explore Saint Mark's Area on your own and return independently or join the transfer back to the ship.
