Please note: This extensive tour requires considerable walking and physical activity, including traversing a little more than 1 mi / 2 km over unpaved surfaces and sand trails, climbing the 144 steps (up and down) to the lighthouse base, and the option to swim at Praia do Farol (in lieu of lighthouse; no chairs or umbrellas at this beach). This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or who require the use of a wheelchair. Guests must be able to enter/disembark the both the tour coach and speed boat to the island. Traditional Brazilian-style lunch is provided; please notify the Shore Concierge in advance to determine if special dietary requests can be accommodated. Children of all ages are welcome to participate but are the responsibility of their guardian(s) at all times. Shopping for handicrafts and mementos is available along the trail; credit card is the preferred method of payment as cash is not accepted. Comfortable walking shoes and sun protection are essential; beach towel if relaxing on Praia do Farol. Order of sights may vary.
