Mizuki Shigeru Road
Departing from the pier, board a comfortable coach for a short transfer to Mizuki Shigeru Road. Over about 60 minutes, stroll the almost-paved route lined with shops and more than a hundred bronze figures inspired by yokai: playful spirits and folklore characters from the beloved world of Shigeru Mizuki. Enjoy time browsing themed souvenirs and local snacks, take photos with your favorite characters, and soak up the whimsical atmosphere.
Kaike Onsen Tsuruya
Next, travel along the coast to Kaike Tsuruya in Kaike Onsen for your traditional hot-spring experience (approximately 90 minutes). After a brief orientation on onsen etiquette, step into mineral-rich, sea-sourced waters renowned for their soothing properties. Move from washing stations to the baths at a relaxed pace, letting tension melt away as you immerse in this quintessential Japanese ritual of wellness and calm. Facilities provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels.
After your onsen experience, re-board the coach for a comfortable 30-minutes return to the pier.

Please Note: This experience includes approximately 1.0 km (0.62 miles) of walking with few steps. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Wear casual clothing and sneakers; bring sun protection as needed. Shopping time for local snacks, food, and souvenirs is available at Mizuki Shigeru Road; credit cards are accepted at several shops. Water is not provided on the coach. Important onsen etiquette & restrictions: Bathing is nude; swimsuits are not permitted. A small towel may be carried in the bathing area for modesty but must not enter the water. Tattoos are prohibited. No alcohol before bathing; onsen use is forbidden for pregnant women and during menstruation. No photography or video in the bathing area. Amenities (shampoo/conditioner/body soap, face & bath towels) are provided at the venue. Terrain at both stops is almost paved; restrooms are available. Tour timing/sequence may vary due to local conditions. Japanese yen is required for any purchases: guests are advised to exchange money at the airport prior the cruise. Local Tour Guides tend to have a strong accent therefore we urge flexibility.
