Khwa ttu Heritage Centre, San-Led Guided Experience

Upon arrival, begin with a guided visit of the Heritage Centre, where you will explore the story of humanity from ancient origins to contemporary San life. Led by a knowledgeable San guide, gain authentic insight into the world’s oldest surviving hunter-gatherer culture.

Traditional Knowledge, Independent Time, Traditional Lunch

Continue your visit learning about the deep relationship between San communities and native plants, including their historical uses for healing, survival, and daily life. Guests may also enjoy free time within the center, taste traditional health-giving teas, and listen to personal stories shared by the guides. A set-menu lunch with drinks is served on site before reboarding the coach for the relaxed 45-minute return to the cruise pier.

Please Note: The tour involves moderate amounts of walking of approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) with minimal steps on flat, paved terrain. Guests must be able to board the coach independently to participate. The venue is suitable for guests with limited mobility once on site. Lunch includes a set menu with two beverages (soft drinks, beer, or wine). Photography and video are allowed.
