National Museum
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 75-minute drive to the National Museum. The country's premier museum, the National Museum is a repository for the nation's rich heritage and history. Built in 1963, the façade features a Minangkabau-styled roof with two impressive front murals. The museum showcases four main galleries; 'Early History', 'Malay Kingdoms', 'Colonial Era' and 'Malaysia Today'.
Independence Square & Heritage Building
Next, re-board your coach and proceed to Independence Square. A photo stop is made at the historical site where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malaysian flag was raised for the very first time, at midnight on 31 August 1957. The flagpole is the highest in the world, towering 328 feet (100 meters) above the ground. Surrounding Independence Square is the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which houses the Federated Malay States administration and High Court.
Suria KLCC
Leaving Independence Suqare, take a stroll to the Suria KLCC, one of the Kuala Lumpur's top shopping mall. The mall was conveived as part of the Petronas Twin Tower project, having been constructed alongside the towers. The back of the mall is designed to offer views of KLCC Park and Lake Symphony and open pool between the parkland and the mall.
Petronas Twin Towers
Head to the Petronas Twin Towers, twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur. At a height of approximately 1,483 feet (about 452 metres), they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004, and remain the tallest twin towers in the world today. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower. Take in amazing panoramic views over the city during a visit to the 42nd-storey SkyBridge connecting the two towers, and 88th-floor Observatory of the eastern tower. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 90-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.65 miles (about 1.05 kilometres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 20 steps at the National Museum and the Suria KLCC and Petronas Twin Tower is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least two years old to participate on this tour. Guests must be at least 21 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. The tour sequence may vary to accommodate the available time slot at the Petronas Twin Tower. The Petronas Twin Towers requires inspection of bags prior to entering.
Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. The drive from Port Klang to Kuala Lumpur is approximately 1.5 hour in each direction. Local traffic conditions can cause traffic jams and therefore delays in the driving time for up to 1.5 hour.
