Excursion Lagoon cruise & snorkel tour at Moorea

Begin your unforgettable experience with a pickup from the tender pier, followed by a scenic lagoon cruise and snorkeling adventure. The tour takes you across the pristine waters of Moorea toward Opunohu Bay, also known as the 'lagoon' of Ta'ahiamanu, renowned for its vibrant marine life and natural beauty.

During the cruise, you will visit the famous underwater tiki, a captivating site teeming with colorful reef fish. The highlight of the excursion is snorkeling in waters typically around 5 feet deep, where you will have the opportunity to swim alongside graceful rays, reef sharks, and numerous tropical fish.

Your knowledgeable guide, with extensive local expertise, will accompany you in the water, providing insights into the marine ecosystem and ensuring a safe, engaging experience. Photography is highly encouraged, as the marine creatures are generally friendly and unafraid of cameras, offering perfect opportunities for memorable shots.

Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of activity and is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition, agile to get in and out of the boat/water, and able to swim and wade in shallow water. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with beach shoes or flip-flops suitable to wade ashore in the shallow water. Bring eco-friendly sun protection, towels and bottled water from the ship. Masks and snorkels (no fins) are provided but they are of a basic quality; we recommend guests bring their own. Guests must follow their guide's instructions at all times. Do not touch or handle the coral whilst snorkelling. Restrooms are available on motu/islet and not on board the vessel. The snorkeling stops and locations may vary depending on sea conditions and currents, with adjustments made to optimize safety and enjoyment on the day of the tour.
