This wheelchair accessible Copenhagen shore excursion allows you to experience the historic Danish capital firsthand, as you visit and explore the very best sights of the city including the famous Little Mermaid, the picturesque canal houses in Nyhavn and the beautiful residency of the reigning Queen Margrethe, Amalienborg Palace.
Start your tour by meeting your tour guide and wheelchair accessible van at the Copenhagen cruise dock and head out on a short drive to see one of Copenhagen's most visited sights, the famous Little Mermaid Statue, overlooking the beautiful canal waters. After this, you will continue to the center of Copenhagen, where you will exit the vehicle and enjoy a memorable stroll along the charming old streets of the city.
On this guided tour, you will see the ornate Amalienborg Palace, home to the reigning Queen Margrethe. You will also see the characteristic National Opera house on water, and soak in the beauty of Nyhavn where colorful canal houses and old sailboats are lined up along the water strip. The tour route avoids steps and stairs. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp will be used for transportation. Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs.
