Excursion Liotrivi mansion experience tour at Monemvasia

Board your coach for the short drive to Liotrivi, the mansion and childhood home of the world-renowned poet of Romiosini, Giannis Ritsos. It is now fully renovated, and offers a wonderful combination of history and tradition. During your visit, tour the olive grove and get to know the cultivation of the olive tree, which continues through the centuries learning its secrets. Take a tour of the old olive mill and get to know the traditional method of producing extra virgin olive oil. You can watch how an experienced chef kneads and bakes bread in the wood oven, next to the garden with herbs. Enjoy a spread of local products at the Mansion's terrace before commencing the short transfer back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times on cobblestone, gravel and uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilize a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate in tastings of alcoholic beverages.
