Situated on the left bank of the Gironde Estuary, Pauillac is the gateway to the “Haut Medoc” wine regions. Bordered by Saint Julien AOC to the South and Saint Estephe AOC to the north, the Pauillac AOC (Appellation d’Origine Controlee- a French government-controlled designation of origin which signifies where grapes are grown), is home to three of the five “First Growth” wineries, from the world renown 1855 Wine Classification that gave the world Cru and Grand Cru wines.

And today, we invite you to visit Chateau Lynch Bages. The first writings of the chateau dates back to the 17th century and since then, Chateau Lynch Bages has always been up to date on the wine processes innovations. After visiting the estate, you will taste 3 wines of the property.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven and natural surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the wine chateau. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.
