DAY ONE – Sunday, March 29, 2026 – Port Elizabeth/ Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

Enjoy breakfast onboard before meeting your local representative for your transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport. Upon reaching the airport, check in and board your charter flight to Skukuza Airport (approx. 150 minutes). Up on arrival in Skukuza, meet your local representative and transfer by road to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge.

Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink, followed by the check-in process. Lunch will be provided at the lodge, after which you will have some free time to relax and explore the area.

In the late afternoon, set out on your first game drive in open 4x4 safari vehicles, venturing into the wilderness as the African sunset casts a golden glow. After an exhilarating experience, return to the lodge to unwind and refresh. Conclude your day with a delectable dinner served in the warm and inviting ambiance of the lodge, celebrating the start of your unforgettable safari experience.

DAY TWO – Monday, March 30, 2026 – Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge

Begin your day with an early wake-up call, then gather in the lounge for a comforting cup of tea, coffee, and biscuits. At dawn, depart on a morning game drive, immersing yourself in the magical awakening of the bush as wildlife becomes active in the soft morning light. After your safari, return to the lodge for a hearty and satisfying breakfast, fueling you for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, convene at the main reception for a community excursion to gain insights into local culture and conservation initiatives. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by some leisure time.

In the late afternoon, venture once more into the bush, immersing yourself in the rich wildlife activity as the sun begins to dip, casting a warm glow over the landscape. After this exciting excursion, return to the lodge to unwind and freshen up. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner in the welcoming ambiance of the lodge, sharing stories of your adventures.

DAY THREE – Tuesday, March 31, 2026 – Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge /Richards Bay

Awake early for your final morning in the bush. Enjoy a morning wake-up with tea, coffee, and biscuits provided before your departure. Embark on your last game drive of the morning. Upon returning to the lodge, savor a leisurely breakfast before completing the check-out process and bid farewell to Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge.

Meet your local representative and take a coach transfer to Skukuza Airport for your charter flight to Richards Bay (approx. 60 minutes). The lodge will provide a packed lunch.

Arrive at the harbor in the early afternoon (after lunch) to reboard your vessel, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of your experience in the African wilderness.

Please note: This Mid-Voyage Land Adventure is recommended to guests who are physically fit.  It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilize a wheelchair. The game drive vehicles traversing over uneven terrain, and the ride can be bumpy, making it unsuitable for guests with back problems. This Land Adventure involves touring outdoors and guests may be exposed to warm, humid and/or wet weather and insects; please pack accordingly. We recommend wearing lightweight clothing; bring a windbreaker and warm clothing for the evening and early morning game drives. Since the safari vehicles are open, a sunhat, sun block, insect repellent and sunglasses are recommended. Remember also to bring your camera and binoculars. The contents and activities of this program are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the movement of wildlife on the reserve. Malaria is present in certain regions of South Africa, and we recommend consulting your physician for appropriate prophylaxis and preventive measures before travel. Airlines restrict baggage to 15kg (33lbs) per person; hand luggage cannot exceed 5kg (11lbs) in weight. Animal sightings are frequent but cannot be guaranteed.
