Scenic Drive to Velies

Start your tour by meeting your private guide and accessible van at the pier. Set out on a comfortable drive inland to the charming village of Velies and the beautifully restored Liotrivi mansion. Pass through picturesque landscapes and olive groves as you approach this historic estate, once the family home of the famous Greek poet Giannis Ritsos and later converted into an olive oil mill and winery in the 1930s.

Liotrivi Estate & Agro-Tourism Experience

Upon arrival, explore the estate’s garden and surroundings, where traditional production methods for olive oil, wine, and bread are still practiced. Under the guidance of an experienced local chef, participate in a cooking demonstration and prepare your own meal, learning the unique recipes and flavors of Laconian cuisine.
