Bambapuang Valley, Salubarani and Toraja

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 2.5-hour drive to the exquisite Bambapuang Valley. Following a refreshment and comfort stop here is made. Bambapuang Valley is a destination where the friendly Toraja people live on the highland, along the snaky road, explore the country-side of Torajanese, Bouginese, Baliness migrant, Javanese and others who have mingled in the life community for many years.

Next, relax and enjoy the scenery on the 2.5 hour drive from Bambapuang Valley to The Misiliana hotel where lunch will be served.


Kete Kesu

After enjoying the local cuisine explore the village's ancient stone graves with effigies of the local ancestors. This location is famous for traditional tongkonan and rice barns, located on the cliff face at the back of the village.


Reboard the coach and begin the journey back to the pier. A final comfort stop is made at the lovely Bambapuang Valley before re-boarding your coach and commencing the approximately 2.5-hour drive back to the pier.
